CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) are used in machining to ensure that the part as machined meets the customer’s requirements. At Bardons & Oliver, this is an important part of our manufacturing process. We’ve recently upgraded our system to the latest controls and software.
Often, the CADD drawing is used to create the program which checks the part. This video shows the process involved in running a part through CMM inspection. The part in question is for off-road transportation.
